School Equipment Pick UP

Dear Viking Families:

 

With the announcement that school will pivot to remote learning, we have developed the following plan for the distribution of devices to families and the commencement of remote learning.

We will distribute devices for students who require them according to the schedule below. Please note that if you have multiple students in your family who require devices, we will distribute all of the devices at one time – please pick a time which best fits your circumstances.

- Tuesday, January 4th 8:20-11:30 a.m. for Kindergarten (Fuller/Ohlke), Gr 1 (Wagar), Gr 1/2 (Dunham), Gr 2/3 (Roantree) from the main entrance

- Tuesday, January 4th 11:30 a.m. -2:40 p.m. for Gr 3/4 (Carr), Gr 4/5 (Reynolds), Gr 5/6 (Snider), Gr 6/7 (Defosse), Gr 7/8 (Hewitt) from the main entrance (South Entrance)

- Tuesday, January 4th 8:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. for all Gr 9, Gr 10, Gr 11 and Gr 12 students from the Student Services (North entrance) for both devices and text books as required.

- Wednesday, January 5th 8:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. alternate pick-up date for all grades (elementary and secondary). Please ring the bell at the front door and we will have tables at each entrance and a staff member there to hand over the device and accompanying paperwork.

Please follow COVID protocols (masking and social distancing) during the collection of devices.

Remote learning classes will begin on Wednesday, January 5th at 8:20 a.m. (elementary) and 8:30 a.m. (secondary) as per the regular school schedule. Students should log-in to find an email inviting to their MS Teams class. Teacher will communicate remote learning schedules and routines on Wednesday when their classes begin.
