Dear NAEC Families,
We hope this finds everyone well after the long Family Day weekend! Report cards were distributed on Friday of last week to all Kindergarten to Grade 12 students. We have been experiencing some challenges with our reporting system and printing, so if you notice any errors or gaps that would typically not appear, please let us know. At this time, we encourage you to chat with your child(ren) about their accomplishments, as well as next steps and goals in their learning journey.
NAEC has been buzzing with many wonderful opportunities for students, including Junior and Senior Girls Volleyball, Junior and Senior Floor Hockey practices, and Elementary Basketball, all highlighting teamwork, school spirit, and active participation. Students also enjoyed a ski trip that provided a fun and engaging outdoor experience, while important wellness supports such as immunizations and a Nurse Practitioner visit helped support student health. A heartfelt thank you to all NAEC staff for their ongoing dedication, care, and commitment to our students—these experiences would not be possible without your continued support.
As mentioned in previous newsletters, graduation photo sessions are coming quickly for our Grade 8 and 12 students. Photos will take place on February 25th.
There are a few upcoming events we want to make sure you are aware of. Our Grade 8 Parent Night is being held on Thursday, Feb. 19th at 5:00 p.m. Please bring your child to see what their high school experience will look like next year in grade 9.
